A warm and comforting welcome to the Hospice

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of quilters from all over South Australia.

Thanks to this wonderful group of people, every patient can choose a beautiful, hand-made quilt when they come to the Mary Potter Hospice.

This is such a warm and comforting welcome, and sends a message of love to each patient. It is not easy to find yourself in the Hospice but this gift lets every patient and their family know that they are not alone. There is a group of people who care.

The quilts add colour to the room and help to keep a patient warm. A quilt can also become a treasured item once a family leaves Mary Potter.

We want to thank every quilter who drops by our office with a delivery of quilts. Quilts they have made personally and from their quilting groups.

It is a joy to look through the wide range of colours and designs. It is really heart-warming to know that each patient will have so much choice.

Thank you to all of the quilters for helping to make Mary Potter Care so special.
