Thank you Adelaide - We did it, we reached our $40,000 target!
This year we partnered with Everyday Hero to make online fundraising and registration possible and very easy, and were overwhelmed by its popularity. Thank you to everyone who took the time to set up a hero page to remember and celebrate the lives of those you love. Even the weather could not dampen the spirits and enthusiasm of our walkers.
Walkers were greeted on completion by the smell of a Barbecue and fresh fruit, water and juices from our friends at Baa Moo Oink, Lenswood Cold Stores, Ralph Ceravolo, Neverfail Springwater and Nippy's respectively. Thanks also go to our friends at Fridge it refrigerated couriers, who generously transported all of our chilled produce to the Foundation from across the city at no charge.
Every dollar you raised through your sponsorship will help the patients and families when it is truly needed the most. Did we take your picture on the day? See below, you might see yourself there!

All proceeds raised through registration and sponsorship will truly make a difference to hundreds of patients and their families receiving care and support in the Mary Potter Hospice or through the community outreach program.
Trophies will be awarded to our top fundraisers at our September AGM!
We thank our new sponsor Chemplus and their new initiative “Good Health Choices” . Good Health Choices will assist people to make informed choices about health and well-being. We are very pleased to have their support for our walk. We thank Chemplus for their great community spirit, for care and kick starting our fundraising campaign!
More about our ‘Walk for Love’
The annual ‘Walk for Love’ is one of The Mary Potter Foundation’s biggest fundraising events supporting the vital care and programs provided to patients and families spending time in the Mary Potter Hospice.
This community event has been running for over 23 years and normally around 600 people take part in the 7km walk around picturesque North Adelaide.
Families and friends will walk or ride together in memory of their loved ones as they raise money in appreciation of the care and support they were provided by the wonderful team in the Mary Potter Hospice or in their homes through our community outreach service.
The walk culminates where participants will enjoy a fundraiser BBQ and live music.
