Tothill Olive Grove supports the Mary Potter Foundation!

Organic olive farmers, Dennis and Toni Brown from Tothill Olive Grove have come on board to help support the Mary Potter Hospice. Toni, a retired Mary Potter Hospice Nurse and her husband have a property in the mid north where they grow olives and garlic. They are organically certified and sell their produce through organic shops, and via word of mouth. The Mary Potter Foundation will now be selling their beautiful oil, with part proceeds benefiting the Hospice. Toni and Dennis are thrilled to be able to support the Hospice. ‘My husband, Dennis, and I both used to be nurses and are now Olive and Garlic Growers! I was privileged to work in the Mary Potter Hospice for eleven years retiring in 2000. To work and care for the patients in the Hospice was a pivotal part of my life. It was uplifting to me to observe the power, strength and love of the human spirit. To be with another at a most vulnerable time and to work with such wonderful staff was a privilege. All of my colleagues there have a special place in my heart.’

The oil will be available in both cask and bottle form, with the casks (Cardboard cask version only) being easily posted (for an additional cost) to those unable to visit the Foundation office. For more information on the oils or to order call the Foundation office on 8239 0119. Stock will be available for purchase from Wednesday 7 September 2011, orders taken in the meantime.

The Mary Potter Rose

Was named after Venerable Mary Potter, the founder of the Order of the Little Company of Mary. The rose, a hybrid tea with a rich clear pink bloom with over 50 petals, has a long stem and is perfect for cutting and drying. This rose has performed exceptionally well, having won an award for it's fragrance in Germany in 1992.

The Mary Potter Rose continues to attract the attention of rose lovers and those who want to support the Mary Potter Hospice and the Foundation through the purchase of a rose for their home garden, or as a living gift.

The roses are available exclusively through the Foundation only, and are delivered direct to your door. Interstate orders welcome.
