Lady Mary Downer

Lady Downer has been a very generous supporter and patron of The Mary Potter Foundation since 1994. Lady Downer is a wonderful ambassador, often officiating at the opening of our many fundraising events. Lady Downer has been awarded Honorary Life Membership for her contributions to the Foundation over the years.

Mr Rick Allert AO

The Mary Potter Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Rick Allert AO as a new Patron. Mr Allert’s appointment was made at the Annual General Meeting of the Foundation in September 2008.

Rick Allert has been a long time supporter of The Mary Potter Foundation, and was actively involved during the 1997-1988 capital campaign acting as Campaign Chairman. Rick was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia (1997) and was elevated to an Officer of the Order of Australia in January this year. Rick also has an Honorary Doctorate of the University of South Australia (2000).
