The Mary Potter Op-Shop

Unfortunately our op-shop that has been located in Pirie Street for the past 14 years has now closed. The rent of the property was re classified under a commercial banner, and it was an unviable option for us to remain open.

The Board and staff of the Mary Potter Foundation wish to thank everyone who donated goods to the Op-Shop and of course a very special thanks to our volunteers. The dedication of our special volunteers, in particular Margaret Milne who has voluntarily managed the shop has meant that around $850,000.00 has been raised to support the Mary Potter Hospice, and many South Australian families have benefited from these funds.

There is consideration being given to the possibility of opening the Op-Shop in another location, should we be successful in obtaining an affordable premise.
